March 11, 2020 – Mouser Electronics joins Analog Devices Inc. and TE Connectivity (TE) to provide design engineers with the components they need to communicate in industrial environments. Manufacturing plants can rely on Ethernet to achieve the real-time and robustness required for industrial applications. Analog Devices has teamed up with TE Connectivity to bring Ethernet and other industrial communication solutions to the shop floor. The Analog Devices ADIN1300 is a low-power, single-port Gigabit Ethernet transceiver with an integrated energy-efficient physical layer (PHY) core for superior power consumption and latency. Using Analog Devices iCoupler® technology, the ADM3055E device combines a triple-channel isolator, CAN transceiver, and Analog Devices isoPower® DC-DC converter in a single surface mount package. The transceiver is compliant for CAN FD operation at 5 Mbps, but can be boosted up to 12 Mbps for future needs.
The ADM3067 RS-485 transceiver provides ±12 kV IEC ESD protection and is designed for high-speed bidirectional data communication up to 50 Mbps over multipoint bus transmission lines. These transceivers allow up to 128 transceivers on the bus and feature full receiver short-circuit, open-circuit and bus-idle fault protection.
TE Intercontec connectors are available in a variety of sizes, functions and power levels, all color coded to avoid mismating when connecting complex devices. These connectors feature an innovative 1/8 quick-lock system that helps reduce installation time and the risk of field installation failures. All Intercontec connectors are IP 66/67 rated (unless otherwise stated) in accordance with EN 60529.
TE’s industrial RJ45 jacks with integrated magnets provide a highly integrated industrial Ethernet connectivity solution – from cable to physical layer. The integrated magnet can greatly improve the EMI noise shielding ability and improve the connection reliability. TE Industrial Mini I/O connectors are compact wire-to-wire and wire-to-board solutions that are only 25% the size of traditional RJ45. This solution provides high retention force of the board connector, combined with a small metal latching mechanism that avoids accidental pull and/or unplug, reducing possible system downtime.
